15th Night Youth Action Council Spring Event 2023

For their Spring event this year the 15th Night Youth Action Council wanted to host a mental health resource fair. They invited a number of community partners to come and share their resources with youth and participate in a self-expression activity. We were so excited to see 46 youth come to the event and enjoy fun Spring activities while learning about our community’s resources.

Transponder and White Bird Clinic helped youth to decorate pots and plant succulents. The NAACP of Eugene/Springfield was there making origami, and Looking Glass was outside creating beautiful chalk art. Oregon Social Learning Center created some awesome paintings with youth, and Suicide Prevention Coalition of Lane County helped them create dream boards with stickers. HIV Alliance shared about free testing and harm reduction, and Youth ERA hosted us all at their amazing drop-in center!

We are so grateful to all of the community partners for showing up for our youth in such a beautiful way. This was such a fun event and a joyful way to kick off the new season, and we are so proud of the Youth Action Council for making this event happen.
